Innovative Motion Technologies, a company based in Germantown, WI, has recently announced the acquisition of Check Technology, a Troy, MI-based firm that specializes in flexible heating systems. The specifics of the deal were not disclosed. This acquisition will enhance IMT’s strategic position in healthcare, agriculture, and off-road vehicle markets.

Founded in 1993, Check Technology is known for designing, manufacturing, and marketing heating and control systems for various applications across different industries. With facilities located in Troy, Michigan, the company has been producing American-made control modules for many years.

IMT is led by CEO Rich Weeden and focuses on providing an industrial technology platform that designs and supplies interface and control solutions for OEM and aftermarket applications. The company operates under two brands: Raffel Systems and Micro-Air. Raffel Systems focuses on electro-mechanical controls for residential, healthcare, industrial, cinema, and hospitality markets while Micro-Air concentrates on environmental controls for residential recreational vehicles HVAC marine applications.

Overall this acquisition will expand IMT’s offerings and capabilities allowing them to better serve their customers in a broader range of industries.
