Michael Anderson, a 6-3, 227-pound rising junior infielder from Rhode Island, has committed to play baseball at Arkansas. This talented player led his team with 41 RBI this year and broke the NCAA Division I record with 12 RBI in a game against Stonehill (Mass.) College in March.
Anderson’s impressive accomplishments include nearly hitting for the cycle by going 5 for 6 with 2 doubles, 1 triple, and 2 home runs. He also had success during a March series at Texas A&M, going 3 for 12 with a double and a home run. In his only series against an SEC opponent, he had 3 RBI, 2 runs, and 5 strikeouts.
