Hungarian Vice-Chairman Calls for Peace and Change as TISZA Surges in Popularity

Magyar’s call in Hungary drew large crowds

A vast crowd gathered in Budapest’s Heroes’ Square, waving national flags as they listened to speeches calling for peace and change. Plaques bearing messages such as “The fate of Hungary is in your hands,” “Hungary – wake up!” and “We want peace!” adorned the square, setting the stage for a powerful gathering.

During his speech, the Hungarian Vice-chairman of the “Respect and Peace” (TISZA) party emphasized that TISZA was the true peace party. He urged those in attendance to vote for TISZA as a vote for peace, highlighting the party’s commitment to refrain from actions such as introducing conscription and sending soldiers.

The Vice-chairman recounted his recent campaign tour, during which he visited numerous towns and municipalities to promote TISZA. Despite smear campaigns funded by the government, the TISZA party emerged stronger, positioning itself as the leading opposition party. He thanked the government for inadvertently strengthening TISZA through their attacks.

The crowd roared in support as the Vice-chairman called for unity among Hungarians and denounced the climate of fear perpetuated by the current government. He envisioned a future where peaceful coexistence and cooperation replace division and hostility, calling for a change in leadership and a return to European values.

Vowing to fight against corruption, align with the EU public prosecutor’s office, and implement social programs for marginalized groups, the Vice-chairman urged attendees to cast their votes for TISZA. He painted a clear contrast between the warmongering tactics of the current ruling party and the peace-oriented approach of TISZA.
