Hungarian Star Szoboszlai Ready for Last Euro Match, But Faces Recovery: Report

Szoboszlai expected to be in Hungary’s lineup against Scotland

Hungary’s attacking star Dominik Szoboszlai is expected to be available for his team in the last group match of the European Football Championship against Scotland, but the 23-year-old former RB Leipzig player only trained individually the day before the match on Sunday. Coach Marco Rossi confirmed that Szoboszlai, who is now under contract with Liverpool FC, is undergoing recovery after a long season.

The Hungarians are yet to earn a point in Group A after defeats against Switzerland and Germany. However, their upcoming opponents, Scotland, are also winless but managed to secure a point in a draw against Switzerland. Rossi is aware of the importance of a victory for Hungary’s chances of progressing in the tournament.

Rossi expressed his annoyance with referee Danny Makkelie from the Netherlands after their recent defeat against Germany. For the upcoming match against Scotland in Stuttgart, the Argentinian Facundo Tello will be the referee. Rossi emphasized the need for consistency in officiating and expressed his desire for fair treatment for his team.

In other news, there has been controversy over special passes issued on medical grounds for minor children of railway employees.
