The success of our communities’ health and wellness relies heavily on the generosity of our donors. When you contribute to WellSpan, you are directly impacting the quality of care we provide through various initiatives such as facility upgrades, new equipment, community outreach programs, and financial assistance for patients.
One such initiative is the newly renovated WellSpan York Cancer Center, which was made possible thanks to over 1,100 gifts from individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations totaling $5.7 million. Additionally, the Adams County Cancer Patient Help Fund has provided over $100,300 in financial assistance to 75 patients and their families since May 2023. Furthermore, the Kristin Runyon Memorial Scholarship has awarded $96,000 to 31 local students pursuing their Registered Nursing degrees.
WellSpan employees also play a crucial role in giving back through initiatives like the annual iGive employee campaign. In the last three years alone, they have raised over $3.5 million to support the health and well-being of our community. Apart from providing exceptional care each day, our employees embody a culture of giving that makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
