Honor and Study Harcourt Collaborate to Revolutionize Portrait Photography with AI-Powered Smartphone Camera

Exploring the Honor 200 Pro: A closer look at its portrait photography features

The alliance between Honor and Study Harcourt from Paris has resulted in a range of new solutions for capturing portraits with a professional finish. This partnership combines the main, telephoto, and ultra-wide angle/macro lenses of the Honor 200 Pro’s main camera with a new dedicated AI engine to significantly improve photo quality through better management of light, shadows, and depth.

The Harcourt mode introduces various filters that provide different lighting and color effects for more professional-looking results. In the portrait section of the main camera, users can choose from three different modes: Harcourt Vibrante, which emphasizes natural colors; Harcourt Color, which tones down intensity with more neutral colors like beige; and Harcourt Classic, which highlights subjects in black and white. The front camera includes a ‘Mirror reflection’ setting that gives portraits a mirror-like appearance without changing the content.

Apart from its impressive portrait capabilities, the Honor 200 Pro also boasts exceptional zoom capabilities. The 50MP telephoto lens supports up to 50x digital zoom with minimal distortion at maximum magnification. The wide-angle lens covers a 112º field of vision but slightly darkens colors while still producing realistic results by not oversaturating colors.

This smartphone camera offers good results and expands creative possibilities with photography modes crafted in collaboration with Harcourt for both portrait and general photography.
