Hokie Wellness Hosts Free Health Screening Event to Promote Well-Being and Opioid Awareness on Campus

Virginia Tech News: Free health screenings available on April 24

On April 24, Hokie Wellness is hosting a free health screening event outside the main entrance to the North End Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is weather dependent, so attendees should follow Hokie Wellness for Employees on Facebook or Instagram for updates. During the event, LewisGale Hospital will be offering basic health screenings, while attendees can also learn about yearly medical appointments and screenings they should be having.

In addition to the health screenings, Hokie Wellness will be on hand to discuss resources for employees and provide information about REVIVE!, the state opioid overdose reversal training. If you have any questions or need assistance with the event, you can contact the team at hokiewellness@vt.edu.
