HIT: Shaping the Future of Engineers, Scientists and Medical Technologies in Israel

President of Holon Institute of Technology Promises to Create a Brighter Future for Israel – Israeli News

HIT, the Hebrew Institute of Technology, is working towards a better future for its students and the country. According to Yakubov, quoting Abraham Lincoln, the best way to predict the future is to create it. This sentiment was echoed by HIT’s Academic Year that began with a staggered schedule to accommodate students who have been serving in the IDF. Each returning student was able to create their own personal schedule with the help of an academic advisor.

Yakubov emphasized on the importance of engineers, scientists, and high-tech professionals and their impact on Israeli society and industry. HIT has supplied graduates to companies such as Elbit, Rafael, Google, Checkpoint, and Israel Aerospace Industries. He also expressed that all students, whether in the reserves or regular military service, are considered as sons and daughters by the institute.

HIT’s Digital Medical Technologies department is at the forefront of digital medicine and training the next generation of physicians with applied AI knowledge. The upcoming academic program will prepare radiological medical experts with extensive AI knowledge. These two departments will form the foundation of HIT’s Faculty of Medical Technologies, which will be Israel’s first such faculty.

HIT has demonstrated its commitment to supporting important events in the community by sponsoring a portion of Jerusalem Post Annual Conference.
