High School Spring Sports Action: Lenawee County Teams Go Head to Head in Soccer and Lacrosse Matches

Spring sports in Lenawee County are in full swing.

This week, the spring sports season is in full swing for Lenawee County high schools. On Monday, the Clinton and Tecumseh girls soccer teams faced off in a highly anticipated match. The game was won by Clinton with a final score of 8-2. Aubrey Lauer scored six goals and Anna Schaffner added two more, while Kaylee Raiser contributed two assists and Jackie Whiting made six saves in goal. On the other hand, Tecumseh’s Shaylinn Drouillard scored both of her team’s goals.

Meanwhile, Blissfield’s girls soccer team played on Monday as well, facing Monroe in a tough game. Despite their best efforts, Blissfield ended up taking a 7-2 loss. In lacrosse, the Tecumseh girls team opened their season with a game against Sylvania Northview. Although they lost 16-4, Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each had a goal and an assist, while Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also scored for Tecumseh. Northview traveled from Ohio for the game.
