High School Baseball Stars: Grayson Willoughby, Bryce Elder, and Jed Hamilton Shine in Midst of Exciting Matchups

Lucas Dotson, a senior at Male High School, played lacrosse and scored 16 goals to help his team secure victories against North Hardin, Greenwood, and Oldham County. The poll for The Courier Journal’s boys athlete of the week will remain open until Thursday at 6 p.m., and the winner will be announced on Friday.

Bryce Elder, a senior at Bullitt East High School, had a strong performance in baseball with three hits, five RBIs, three walks, and a stolen base in games against Elizabethtown and Holy Cross. Jed Hamilton, a senior at Highlands Latin, had an impressive baseball game with three hits, five RBIs, one walk, and two stolen bases in a win over Atherton. Carson Randol, a senior at DeSales High School, pitched a fantastic game allowing only one hit and striking out nine Western hitters in a 12-0 victory.
