Helsinki Stock Exchange Opens with SSAB Down

After the Helsinki Stock Exchange reopened following Easter, its general index saw a 0.4 percent increase to 9785.26 points. The most actively traded stock was Nordea Bank, with its share price rising by 0.4 percent to EUR 10.51. Among the top twelve stocks traded, most of them were on the rise. SSAB announced plans to build a new fossil-free steel production plant in Lulea, Sweden, with an estimated investment of around EUR 4.5 billion euros, which marks “the third step” for Raahe in Finland after previous investments made there were completed successfully at this time it is taking place in Lulea not Raahe as initially planned .
