Eva Olid, the manager of Hearts, has announced that 10 players will be leaving the club this summer. Among them is Katie Lockwood, who finished the season as the top scorer in her side and played a crucial role in their success. She will be joining another team, along with Kathleen McGovern and Ciara Grant, both of whom also contributed significantly to Hearts’ achievements.
The remaining players who will be departing include Aimee Anderson, Shona Cowan, Eilidh Davies, Jenna Penman, Cailin Michie, Danni Findlay, and Erin Rennie. Additionally, Megan Bell will be returning to parent club Rangers after a loan spell with Hearts. Olid expressed her gratitude to all the departing players for their contributions to the club’s history-making achievements over the past two years.
She acknowledged their role in creating back-to-back fourth-placed finishes and reaching their first Scottish Cup final appearance and victory over a top-three side. Olid wished all the departing players all the best for their future endeavors and thanked them for being an integral part of Hearts’ journey.
