Heart and Vascular Center Expansion at Sanford Health Celebrated by Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors

Bemidji Chamber Celebrates the Expansion of Sanford Health

Sanford Health’s Heart and Vascular Center expansion and East Lobby remodel have recently been celebrated by the Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors. The newly expanded heart center includes several improvements such as a third catheterization (CATH) lab, an expanded nurses station, private offices for clinicians, improved wayfinding for patients, a better lobby experience, and additional clinic rooms for potential future growth.

This expansion now allows patients with irregular heartbeats to receive treatment closer to home, thanks to the electrophysiology capabilities of the new CATH lab. Earlier this year, the cardiovascular team at Sanford Health made history by performing the region’s first-ever cardiac ablation in the new electrophysiology CATH lab.

The Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors and Sanford Health celebrated the completion of these expansions and upgrades. The enhancements to the facility will not only improve patient care and experience but also allow for more complex procedures to be conducted locally, benefiting the community as a whole. It is a significant milestone for healthcare in the region and showcases Sanford Health’s commitment to providing high-quality services to its patients.
