As the Airport General Manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Balram Bheodari has been recognized for his leadership and operational expertise. Under his guidance, the airport has been named North America’s most efficient airport. Bheodari’s commitment to serving others, integrity, and adaptability have been instrumental in guiding the airport to success.

In his role, Bheodari is responsible for overseeing all aspects of airport governance, including operations and the implementation of ATLNext, a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program designed to support Atlanta’s growth over the next two decades. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bheodari developed a comprehensive plan to facilitate the airport’s recovery efforts and ensure compliance with evolving health and safety guidelines from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Through collaboration with stakeholders, team-building efforts among aviation employees, and adaptability in the face of uncertainty, Bheodari worked to restore customer confidence and establish the airport as a safe facility with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
