Harriet T. Fisher: The City of Rochester’s New Chief Technology Officer

New Chief Technology Officer appointed by Mayor Evans

Harriet T. Fisher has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer for the Department of Information Technology in Rochester by Mayor Malik Evans. With her extensive background as the Director of Project Management Office, Fisher is well-prepared to excel in this new role. She will be replacing William Boudreaux, who is leaving Rochester for an opportunity out of state after serving as a City employee and member of the IT department since 1998.

Fisher brings more than 25 years of experience in IT to her new position, making her a valuable asset to the city’s technology systems. Mayor Evans expressed gratitude for Boudreaux’s leadership and service before welcoming Fisher to her new role with excitement. Fisher’s official start date is set for June 1st, and she is eager to continue the important work being done within the department.

Fisher expressed her gratitude to Mayor Evans for this opportunity, calling it “the position of a lifetime.” She credits her mentorship from past leaders in Rochester for preparing her for this role.
