The HBO sports docuseries, “Hard Knocks,” is set to take a new format in the upcoming 2024-25 NFL season. Instead of focusing on just one team like in previous seasons, the series will showcase an entire division during the regular season. Titled “Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North,” the series will feature the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The show will premiere on December 3 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and will also be available for streaming on Max. Each Tuesday, a new episode will be released, running through the playoffs in January. The AFC North was chosen as a logical option for this new format as all four teams finished above .500 last season, with three of them winning 10 or more games. The Ravens led the conference with a 13-4 record.
“Hard Knocks” has featured NFC North teams in the past, including the Ravens in 2001, Bengals in 2009 and 2013, and Browns in 2018. This will be the Steelers’ debut on the series.
