Green Dazzle Boutique’s Owner Javier Orozco on the Emotional Journey of Running a Business Amid Medical Challenges for Youngest Son Zane

Business owners in Lubbock face financial difficulties due to their son’s medical expenses.

In Lubbock, Texas, a children’s boutique named Green Dazzle Boutique was facing challenges in staying afloat due to the medical needs of its youngest son, Zane. Owned by Javier and Arlene Orozco, the couple had three children: Zachary, Zemi, and Zane who was just 10 months old and suffered from severe eczema.

Arlene shared the struggles they faced daily with Zane’s skin condition, which added immense stress to the family. To make matters worse, they were unable to afford the cost of self-pay options for his treatment that almost reached ten thousand dollars.

The Orozcos were deeply emotional about their store and saw it as a place where their children had grown up and felt a sense of belonging. They were determined to keep it running while also taking care of their family’s medical needs.

To help support the family’s expenses for Zane’s treatment, a GoFundMe page was set up. The page allowed individuals to donate towards the costs associated with his treatment and offered financial relief to the Orozco family. Thanks to the generosity of those who donated, Green Dazzle Boutique was able to continue serving its customers while also providing hope for Zane’s health journey.
