Green Bay Packers Head to Denver for First Preseason Meeting with Broncos Since 2017

Packers-Broncos Preseason Game to be Broadcast on NFL Network

The Green Bay Packers will be traveling to Denver to play the Broncos in a preseason game on Sunday, Aug. 18. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. CT at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

The Packers and Broncos have not played each other in the preseason since 2017, but they met in a regular season game last year, with the Broncos winning 19-17 in Denver in October. Head coach Matt LaFleur and the Packers are planning to arrive early in the week for a joint practice with the Broncos before the preseason matchup. While the training camp schedule has not been finalized, the joint practice is expected to take place on Friday ahead of the Sunday game.

Fans can catch this primetime preseason matchup on NFL Network or stream it live on NFL+. The Broncos are showcasing their new era with first-round pick Bo Nix at quarterback, adding excitement to this exhibition game. In addition to this game, the Packers’ two other preseason matches will also be available on the Packers TV Network. Teams like the Chicago Bears will have all three preseason games broadcasted live on NFL Network, giving Packers fans multiple chances to see new rookie quarterback Caleb Williams in action during the exhibition schedule.
