Grand Mental Health and Restore Hope Ministries Partner to Offer Free Mental Health Screenings on April 8

Restore Hope Ministries in Tulsa will offer free mental health screenings on April 8

In a bid to promote mental health awareness in the community, Grand Mental Health is partnering with Restore Hope Ministries to offer free mental health screenings on Monday, April 8. The initiative is aimed at providing much-needed support to individuals struggling with chronic mental health issues.

During the event, behavioral health professionals will be on-site to screen for alcohol use, depression, and PTSD. Kim James, Clinical Director at Grand Mental Health, emphasizes the importance of early detection and intervention for those struggling with mental health concerns. She highlights that individuals with mental health conditions typically have a shorter lifespan compared to the general population, making screenings crucial for identifying and addressing these issues.

The free mental health screenings will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on April 8 at Restore Hope Ministries located near Charles Page Boulevard and 25th West Avenue. For those unable to attend the screening event, Grand Mental Health offers a crisis line that operates 24/7, reachable at 1-800-722-3611 for immediate assistance.

Grand Mental Health is committed to expanding its outreach efforts and reaching more individuals in need of support through partnerships like this one with Restore Hope Ministries. To learn more about their services and how you can get involved, visit their website for additional information.
