Graduation Day Remains Unchanged at UW Oshkosh Despite Arena Sale Uncertainty

Oshkosh High Schools Relocate Graduation Ceremonies to Kolf Sports Center on UWO Campus

The graduation ceremonies for Oshkosh North and West high schools will be held at the UW Oshkosh Kolf Sports Center on May 25, with Oshkosh West’s ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. and Oshkosh North’s ceremony starting at 4 p.m. Despite uncertainty surrounding the future of the Oshkosh Arena, which was listed for sale earlier this year, the dates and times of the ceremonies remain unchanged, ensuring that graduates and their families can still celebrate on the scheduled day.

Oshkosh Area School District Superintendent Bryan Davis expressed gratitude to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for their partnership and support in hosting the graduation ceremonies at the Kolf Sports Center. The decision to move to this location was made in response to the uncertain future of the Oshkosh Arena, and by doing so, the schools are able to proceed seamlessly with their planned graduation celebrations and provide graduates with a memorable experience.

The university’s willingness to support the high schools in this endeavor highlights the importance of collaboration and community involvement in ensuring that milestone events like graduations can still take place as planned, despite any uncertainties that may arise.
