Google Lens Now Integrates into YouTube’s Android App Search Bar: A New Way to Search for Content.

YouTube’s New Feature: Search for Videos on Android with Just an Image

Google Lens, a visual search application, is now integrated into YouTube’s Android app search bar. This feature is accessible via a button located next to the microphone option on the search bar. With Google Lens, users can recognize and analyze images through their mobile camera or by uploading a photo from their device’s gallery.

The integration of Google Lens into YouTube’s search engine has been enabled for Android devices and placed next to the microphone button for voice commands. By clicking on the Google Lens button, the camera opens automatically. Once recognized, it provides available options that match the search query by identifying text or images from the photo. This feature is powered by Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.

However, it is important to note that this feature has not been globally implemented yet and is only available to some users who have logged in with the same account. Despite this limitation, Google Lens’ integration into YouTube adds a new level of convenience and functionality to both platforms.
