Google has recently introduced a new feature in the Chrome browser for Android devices that reads web page content aloud. This feature, called “Listen to this page,” allows users to access web page content in a read-aloud mode. The feature includes controls to pause, rewind, or advance the text while playing, as well as adjust playback speed or change the voice type.
The new feature is designed to enhance user experience by adding accessibility functions to Google’s services. With “Listen to this page,” users can listen to content in up to twelve languages and choose from various voice types, each with its own tone and style. The feature also includes text highlighting and automatic scrolling for seamless reading.
To use the feature, users simply need to activate it within the browser options menu. Once activated, they can continue browsing other tabs while listening to the text. The new version of Chrome 125 on Android devices now includes this reading function.
In addition to this new feature, there are many diverse topics covered on various online platforms. From firearms for sale to creating reflection essays, and from news on stock markets to tips on online hotel marketing, there is something for everyone online.
