Automotive Service Technology Program at Daytona State College Receives Re-Accreditation

Daytona State College’s Automotive Service Technology program has recently been re-accredited by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation. This accreditation is highly valued in the industry and reflects the college’s commitment to providing students with the necessary education and skills for a successful career in automotive service.

The President of Daytona State College, Tom LoBasso, recognizes the high demand for skilled automotive technicians and emphasizes the importance of this ASE accreditation as the gold standard in the field. Being accredited at the MASTER level by ASE ensures that graduates from Daytona State College are well-prepared and have received quality training comparable to other ASE-accredited programs across the country.

The Automotive Service Technology program at Daytona State College provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the dynamic and technical automotive industry. The program equips students with the tools they need to succeed, preparing them for ASE tests A1 through A8. With a total of 1,800 hours of instruction over two years, students can choose from day or evening courses at the Advanced Technology College. This program offers nine different courses that lead to successful completion and a bright future in the automotive service industry.
