Giants Prospect Giants: Bryce Eldridge’s Rise from Struggles to Sensational Performance

Giants prospect Eldridge hits two homers for San Jose in dominant performance

Giants prospect Bryce Eldridge put on a show for the Single-A San Jose Giants, smashing two home runs in a 7-4 victory over the Inland Empire 66ers. The 19-year-old first-round draft pick from 2023 had struggled at the start of the minor league season but has found his stride in recent games.

Eldridge’s batting average has risen to .280, with 10 doubles, nine home runs, and 39 RBIs in just 40 games. In addition to the two homers, Eldridge also contributed an RBI double, going 3-for-4 with five RBIs in the win. After a slow April, Eldridge’s performance has significantly improved, and his recent hot streak may earn him a promotion to High-A Eugene.

Drafted as a two-way player, Eldridge is focusing exclusively on hitting in his rookie season. Although still early in his development, Eldridge’s recent performance may earn him a promotion to High-A Eugene. With his current hot streak, Eldrid is poised to make an impact as he continues to develop in the Giants’ farm system.
