Giants Prospect Bryce Eldridge Shines in Single-A Home Opener with Unusual Home Run

Bryce Eldridge, the top prospect for the San Jose Giants, had a standout start in Single-A. The No. 4 prospect in San Francisco had a strong showing in the team’s season opener against the Fresno Grizzlies at Excite Ballpark, where he went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

During the game, Eldridge hit an unusual opposite-field home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. He connected with a 1-1 curveball high in the strike zone that initially looked like a pop-up down the left-field line. However, the ball carried over the wall for a two-run homer, showcasing Eldridge’s impressive power at bat.
