Savie Health will be hosting a health education and vaccine fair in Lompoc on Saturday, June 15. The event will feature information and resources from various community organizations, including the Santa Barbara County Promotoras and Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization.
Attendees of the fair will also be treated to a complimentary lunch provided by the Kiwanis of Santa Maria Valley, with the choice between turkey and veggie hot dogs. The event will offer health education on topics such as Spanish language nutrition classes, sun safety, and diabetes prevention.
In terms of vaccinations, attendees can receive free Flu, COVID-19, and Mpox vaccines. These vaccines will be available to low to moderate-income community members who are either Medi-Cal recipients or uninsured.
