Get Ready for a High-Stakes Showdown at Texas Motor Speedway as NASCAR Returns to Intermediate Tracks

Schedule for NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, and Cup races at Texas Motor Speedway

This weekend, Texas Motor Speedway will host the second intermediate race of the NASCAR season. After two consecutive short track races, drivers are eager to get back to a larger track. Last season’s winners at Texas were Carson Hocevar in the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek in the Xfinity race, and William Byron in the Cup race.

William Byron has been on fire lately, winning two of the last three Cup races. This weekend also marks a special return to Cup racing for Jimmie Johnson, who will be driving the No. 84 Legacy Motor Club Toyota in his second start of the season.

The weekend schedule for Texas Motor Speedway starts on Friday with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures. The Truck series race will kick off without any chance of rain. Saturday will have sunny skies with windy conditions, while Sunday will see partly cloudy skies with no chance of rain. On-track activities include practice, qualifying, and races for all three series throughout the weekend.

Series officials are working hard to improve tire wear on short tracks, which has been a concern for some drivers in recent races. Fans can expect an action-packed weekend that will be broadcast on FS1, Performance Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
