Get ready for a first-of-its-kind community health survey: CASPER!

Help Wanted: Volunteers Needed to Conduct Door-to-Door Public Health Survey Across Multiple Counties

A first-of-its-kind community health survey, the Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER), is set to take place in June across several counties. The survey is a collaborative effort between organizations such as Lewis and Clark Public Health, Pureview Health Center, and St. Peter’s Health.

The purpose of the survey is to provide a snapshot of community health conditions, behaviors, and social determinants. Volunteers will be going door-to-door across Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, Powell, Broadwater, and Meagher counties to gather responses. Thirty 2-member teams will visit seven households in each census block to collect data.

Residents who participate in the survey will have the chance to win a $500 Visa gift card. The results from the survey will help to identify public health priorities and contribute to the formation of a community health improvement plan. The deadline to apply as a volunteer for the survey is Monday, June 17th.
