Kern County Public Health to Host the Know Your Numbers Program in California City on June 11th

In California City, Kern County Public Health is hosting a Know Your Numbers Program on Tuesday, June 11. The program will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the California City Parks and Recreation, located at 10400 Heather Avenue. This event aims to provide residents with two free health screenings to assess their body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels. These screenings will be conducted before and after six weeks of nutrition coaching from the program.

The program also offers fitness and nutrition classes on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., starting from June 18 through June 23. These classes are open to the public, even if individuals did not attend the initial health screening.
