Georgia Bulldogs Cornbacker Deandre Baker Looks to Rebound in the NFL

Ex-Georgia standout DB attempts to make the cut with the Dallas Cowboys

The University of Georgia has a rich history of producing top NFL talent, and Deandre Baker is no exception. At just 26 years old, the former Georgia Bulldogs star cornerback is determined to prove himself and make a strong comeback in the league.

Baker recently tried out for the Dallas Cowboys, showcasing his impressive skills and determination to earn a training camp invitation. Despite being released from the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, Baker remains focused on making a name for himself in the NFL once again.

During his time with the DC Defenders in the UFL this spring, Baker recorded an impressive 22 total tackles and forced a fumble. Along with fellow cornerback Gaeron Conley, Baker demonstrated his potential on the field and proved that he still has plenty to offer.

As a first-round pick for the New York Giants in the 2019 NFL draft, Baker has already shown his talent at the highest level. With Kirby Smart leading the way at Georgia, the program continues to produce top NFL draft picks at an impressive rate. The success of Georgia players making it to the NFL is a testament to both the program’s excellence and the players’ dedication to their craft.
