Georgia Baseball on Track to Repeat as National Champions in College World Series

Georgia Favored to Win College Baseball World Series

The College Baseball tournament is kicking off this weekend, with Georgia’s baseball team being named a national top-seed. With 11 out of 14 SEC conference members qualifying for the tournament, including 5 hosting regionals, the competition will be fierce among familiar opponents.

As regionals are set to begin, all eyes are on Omaha and the College World Series starting on June 14th. The championship odds, as set by DraftKings.com, have been revealed. The Bulldogs may be considered a long shot to win the title, but they have already faced many of the top contenders, with the top 5 odds-on champions all coming from the SEC.

Despite being awarded the No. 7 overall seed, Georgia could potentially play games at Foley Field in the first two rounds of bracket play if they advance that far. Once in Omaha, anything can happen.
