Christ Church Pueblo West in Pueblo West has started a Gear Up program that offers free sports equipment to children. The program provides new or donated items such as football pads, cleats, helmets, and other gear. Seeing a child leave with a big smile after receiving new equipment warms the heart of Pastor Bryan Kelsen.
The program is available on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those interested in donating can visit their Facebook page.
