GCC Stock Markets Show Mixed Performance on Tuesday

Gulf stocks show varied performance, with Saudi index rising by 0.43%

On Tuesday, the performance of stocks in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries was mixed. In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi market index rose 0.082% to 9,252.61 points and the Dubai market index increased by 0.143% to 4,269.4 points. The main market index (TASI) saw a gain of 0.43% to reach 12,476.59 points through trading of 274.68 million shares worth 7.6 billion riyals.

The highest increase was seen in stocks such as Sabic, Chemical, Avalon Pharma, Yansab and Saudi Kayan while there was a decline in stocks like Sinomi Retail, Saudi Cables, Astra Industrial and Sinomi Centers and Al Hokair Group.

In Kuwait, the general market index rose by 0.19% to reach 7,368
