Gaza Residents’ Anger Towards Hamas Amid Devastating Conflict

Hamas Criticized by Palestinians for Causing Suffering in Gaza

The war in Gaza has been a devastating one for the Palestinian people, and now, residents living in the area have expressed their anger at Hamas. According to reports from Times of Israel, individuals in the enclave have criticized Hamas leaders for starting the conflict and not agreeing to end it.

One resident, Umm Ala, 67, who has had to flee her home twice due to the war, stated that Hamas led the Palestinian people into a war of annihilation. She expressed frustration that Hamas leaders have not agreed to end the conflict and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian population.

Another resident, Abu Eyad, 55, who currently resides in northern Gaza, accused Hamas of starting the conflict with Israel and causing pain and destruction for the population. Eyad criticized Ismail Haniyeh, leader of Hamas who lives outside Gaza but still affects its residents’ lives negatively.

Residents like Abu Shaker and Umm Shadi echoed similar sentiments of weariness and frustration with the ongoing conflict. They urged Hamas to end it at any cost as they could no longer bear its effects on their lives. Abu Shaker called for an immediate ceasefire while Umm Shadi questioned Hamas’s motivations behind continuing it.

In an interview with CNN, Osama Hamdan discussed his concerns regarding Israel’s intentions regarding ceasefire duration and second phase agreement requirements. He emphasized that any agreement must include guarantees of a permanent ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. The fate of hostages remains crucial in negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

The latest plan supported by the US involves a ceasefire exchange between hostages for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. However, questions about Hamas’s role in continuing this devastating conflict are being raised as more Palestinians suffer under its rule.

Hamas’s failure to reach peace with Israel is causing immense harm to innocent people living in Gaza Strip who are caught up in this never-ending cycle of violence.

It is time for both sides to come together and work towards finding a peaceful solution that respects everyone’s rights and provides safety for all citizens involved.
