The Paris Olympics will be covered by Fubo TV as part of their agreement with NBCUniversal. Although the details of the deal were not disclosed, this partnership provides subscribers with multi-platform coverage. This means that FuboTV customers can watch live competition sessions starting on July 24 and have access to on-demand viewing options, all at no additional cost.
In addition to the 2024 Olympics, FuboTV also offered its subscribers access to NBCUniversal’s coverage of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. This coverage was available digitally on NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, and the NBC Sports app.
NBC Sports has enlisted several celebrities to provide star power during the 17-day event. Kelly Clarkson, Peyton Manning, Today hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, and sports commentator Mike Tirico will be present during the opening ceremony as thousands of athletes partake in an unprecedented 4-mile-long flotilla down the River Seine. The Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26, with coverage on multiple platforms including NBC broadcast network and NBCUniversal linear TV channels such as USA Network, E!, CNBC, and Golf Channel.
This announcement comes as Fubo TV faces competition from a proposed sports super-streamer by The Walt Disney Company, Fox Corp., and Warner Bros. Discovery which is expected to launch soon. Despite this competition, Fubo TV remains committed to providing their subscribers with high-quality sports coverage at no additional cost.
