Steelers acquire defensive tackle from Falcons through waivers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired defensive tackle Willington Previlon off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons, as reported by the NFL transactions wire for Friday. Previlon, 27, has had stints with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and Falcons since joining the Packers as an undrafted free agent from Rutgers in 2020. Despite this, he has never played in a regular-season NFL game.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 285 pounds, Previlon played in three preseason games with the Packers in 2021, three with the Buccaneers in 2022, and three with the Buccaneers in 2023.
