OKWU Baseball has just won a thrilling game against second-seeded Tabor, leaving them one win away from the KCAC Title Game. The Eagles remain undefeated in the tournament and are well positioned for the upcoming weekend.
In the bottom of the ninth, Tabor had the bases loaded, but OKWU pitcher Ashton Luera was able to shut them down and secure the win for the Eagles. With this victory, OKWU only needs to win one more game on Saturday to secure their spot in the title game on Sunday.
OKWU will be facing either Friends University or Tabor College in their next game, teams they have already defeated in previous matches. With a record of 33-18 for the season, OKWU will need to win the conference tournament in order to secure a bid into the NAIA national tournament.
Stay tuned for more updates on OKWU baseball as they continue their journey towards becoming conference champions and securing a place in national tournament. Don’t miss out on all the action!
