On the other hand, LeBron James had a standout game for the Lakers, achieving a triple-double with 28 points, 17 assists, and 11 rebounds. Anthony Davis also had a strong performance for Los Angeles, scoring 30 points to back up James’ effort. Despite a chance to earn the West’s No. 1 seed with a win over the Suns and specific outcomes in other games, Minnesota fell short and will be seeded third in the Western Conference playoffs. Rudy Gobert led Minnesota with 21 points and seven rebounds in their loss to Phoenix on Sunday.
