From Script to Screen: ‘Normal’ Set for Release with Bob Odenkirk at the Helm.

Bob Odenkirk’s Action Film ‘Normal’ Secures International Pre-Sales

A new action film titled “Normal” is set to be released worldwide after being acquired by distributors in various territories. The movie, starring Bob Odenkirk, has been sold to distributors globally following its launch at the EFM earlier this year by WME Independent.

The film, directed by Ben Wheatley, follows the story of Ulysses (Odenkirk), who becomes the temporary sheriff of the small town Normal after the previous sheriff’s death. When the town’s bank is robbed, Ulysses discovers that the town is hiding deep-seated secrets and must uncover a criminal conspiracy involving everyone in the town.

Produced by Marc Provissiero, Bob Odenkirk, and Derek Kolstad, “Normal” will hit screens with a yet-to-be-announced shoot date. Zach Glueck of WME Independent stated that from the moment they read Kolstad’s script, they knew it was a special project that would provide both fun and scale that audiences are hungry for. “It’s a project that perfectly unlocks Bob’s unique gifts that make him a global star,” Glueck added.
