From Pitcher to Coach: Snoop Dogg’s Unforgettable Stint as a Guest Commentator During a Brewers Game

Snoop Dogg is impressed by Elly De La Cruz’s powerful arm: ‘Who is that with that rocket?!’

During a recent Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, Snoop Dogg made a special appearance as a guest commentator. The legendary rapper threw the first pitch, met with the home team in the clubhouse, and joined Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder in the Bally Sports Wisconsin booth to offer his unique voice and enthusiastic commentary to add excitement to the game.

As the game progressed, Brewers second baseman Brice Turang hit a grounder that seemed like it could be an infield single. However, Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz made an amazing sidearm throw to get him out. Snoop Dogg was impressed with De La Cruz’s arm strength and couldn’t contain his excitement as he watched the play unfold.

De La Cruz debuted in MLB last year and has shown great potential with his speed and impressive arm. He currently leads MLB in stolen bases and continues to impress with his skills on the field. Despite staying for only one inning, Snoop Dogg offered some coaching tips to Brewers star Christian Yelich during the game.

The Brewers ended up winning 3-1 thanks to a three-run homer by Joey Ortiz. Snoop Dogg’s genuine enthusiasm and love for baseball added a unique flavor to the broadcast and left fans entertained. It will be interesting to see if he gets another opportunity to provide baseball commentary in the future.
