Last month, three-star outside linebacker Anthony “Deuce” Williams from Pearland, Texas decided to decommit from the University of Texas. Now, nearly two months later, Williams has announced his commitment to the TCU Horned Frogs.

The Horned Frogs were able to capitalize on the momentum following Williams’ decommitment from Texas and secured his commitment. With a total of 20 offers in his recruitment, Williams ultimately chose TCU as his next destination.

In an interview with Rivals, Williams highlighted the efforts of TCU’s recruiting coordinator Ken Wilson in maintaining constant communication with him even during his commitment to Texas. He also emphasized his strong connection with the coaching staff as a major factor in his decision.

At 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, Williams possesses positional versatility, showcasing skills in pass rushing, pass coverage, and run defense. As he continues to add weight, he envisions playing more of a traditional linebacker role with TCU.
