Rimac mentioned that although he doesn’t usually make these kinds of videos, there are two big events coming up in the next two weeks that he wanted to talk about. Firstly, next week they will be presenting the new Bugatti, an event that is always highly anticipated. He expressed his pride for the hundreds of people who have worked on it for four years and believes that everyone will like it. The following week, they will unveil the robot taxi, showcasing the vehicle, revealing its name, and discussing other related features. Rimac stated that it is something very special that will surprise everyone.
In a video recorded on the Rimac campus, Rimac shared his emotions about the journey they have been on for the past 15 years. He mentioned how crazy and unimaginable their achievements have been during this time, and expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported and contributed to their success. He acknowledged that the journey has brought many challenges and experiences, evident in his now-gray hair.
Mate Rimac had previously announced on Facebook in the spring that the robotaxi would be unveiled on June 26, 2024. From Rimac’s P3 moreć, it was mentioned that they would be officially presenting a working prototype of an autonomous electric vehicle in the middle of this year.
