From Healthcare Leader to Technology Trailblazer: Frank Ingari’s Journey as Tandigm Health CEO Comes to an End

The CEO of Tandigm Health will be resigning.

In 2019, Frank Ingari was appointed CEO of Tandigm Health. He has been serving in this role since then and will be stepping down effective April 30 to pursue new opportunities. Tandigm is a West Conshohocken-based company that was founded in 2014 by the parent company of Independent Blue Cross with the goal of assisting primary care physicians in managing their patients’ health in ways that both save money and improve care.

In 2021, the University of Pennsylvania Health System invested $50 million for a minority stake in Tandigm, adding over 275 primary care physicians to its network. The company has grown into one of the largest and most successful physician-led organizations in the country under Ingari’s leadership.

Richard L. Snyder, an IBX executive vice president and chair of Tandigm’s board, expressed gratitude towards Ingari for his dedication and leadership during his time with the company. He credited Frank’s vision and insight as vital to Tandigm’s continued success, acknowledging the company’s growth into one of the largest and most successful physician-led organizations in the country.

While Tandigm searches for a new CEO, Pam Eckardt, chief performance operations officer, and Keith Garthwaite, chief financial officer, will take on the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. Ingari has a background in technology prior to his tenure in health care and did not immediately respond to requests for information about his future plans.
