Five years ago, Michael Barton of Houston, Texas first tried axe throwing and wasn’t very good at it. However, with years of practice and hard work alongside his practice partners Jorge Sanchez and Chris Kendig from Hurling Hatchets, Barton has significantly improved and is now heading to the World Axe Throwing Championships in Tulsa.
Barton, Sanchez, and Kendig have worked tirelessly to climb up the ranks in the sport and are feeling confident about their chances at the upcoming championships. Barton will be competing in both Hatchets and Knives categories and is determined to give it his all during the competition.
