From Gaming to Sports: Ron Winchell Takes Over Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill in Reno

Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill Under New Ownership

Ron Winchell, owner of ECL Gaming based in Las Vegas, is set to become the new owner of Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill in Reno, Nevada. After leading the company for 25 years, President and CEO Jo Lown has decided to sell her stake in the company so that she can spend more time with her family.

Lown made the difficult decision to step down from her role after much contemplation. She believes that it is the right time for her to transition away from her day-to-day responsibilities and allow someone else to take the helm. She has confidence that Winchell has the vision, energy, and expertise needed to continue building on the success and culture of Bully’s.

Winchell expressed his gratitude for Lown’s leadership and acknowledged the great work that she and her team have done in establishing Bully’s as a popular sports bar and grill in Reno. He plans to expand and enhance the brand while maintaining its current employee base and customer experience.

Both Lown and Winchell emphasized the importance of people and culture in shaping a successful business. They highlighted the dedication of their employees who have been with Bully’s for many years. This transition marks an exciting time for Bully’s and the gaming/entertainment industry in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City as they look forward to new opportunities for growth and development under Winchell’s ownership.
