From Fifth to Champs: Nissan’s Formula E Driver Set to Claim Championship in London Finale”.

Rowland provides health update following absence from Portland

Last weekend, Formula E driver Oliver Rowland was unable to participate in the Portland double-header due to illness. However, Rowland’s health has improved since missing the event and he is now preparing for the London E-Prix season finale. Nissan announced last Friday that reserve driver Caio Collet would replace Rowland in the crucial Formula E rounds in the United States.

In a statement shared on Instagram on Wednesday morning, Rowland expressed his gratitude for the support he received from Nissan in providing him with specialist help for his health issues. Despite missing both races in Portland, Rowland remains in the championship fight. Although he is now in fifth place in the drivers’ championship, he is just 36 points behind Nick Cassidy, who failed to score any points last weekend.

Even though Rowland is considered the outsider in the title race, it would be a remarkable story if the Nissan driver were to claim the championship crown in his home country at the British capital. With his health improving and his determination to compete in the upcoming races, Rowland is focused on giving his best performance in the London E-Prix season finale.
