Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods, qualifies for U.S. Junior Amateur championship

Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, recently qualified to compete in a USGA championship event for the first time. He posted the top score of 1-under 71 at the Eagle Trace Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida, earning a spot in the U.S. Junior Amateur championship in July. Out of 85 participants, Charlie was one of four qualifiers to advance.

Despite a rocky start with a bogey and a double-bogey on his first two holes, Woods rallied and carded five birdies and one bogey to finish 1-under par. Reflecting on his performance, Charlie acknowledged his shaky start but was proud of his strong finish in the tournament.

Tiger Woods, the legendary golfer and father of Charlie, won the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship three times from 1991-93.
