From Church Street to a New Chapter: The Story of Hamburger Mary’s

Hamburger Mary’s bids farewell to downtown Orlando after 16 years

Hamburger Mary’s, an LGBTQ+ owned business that has been in Orlando for 16 years, announced that they are leaving their Church Street location. The owners revealed in a Facebook post that June 2 will be their final day at 110 W. Church Street. The business began in 2008 and has had a significant impact on the local community by hosting numerous events and celebrations over the years.

The owners cited a decline in business in downtown Orlando as the main reason for their decision to move. With more people working remotely and less traffic in the evenings, the once lively downtown atmosphere has become quieter. Despite the challenges, they remain optimistic about finding a new location that will better suit their needs.

Currently, the owners are exploring different venues and are open to suggestions from the community. They expressed gratitude for the support they have received over the years and are excited about the future of Hamburger Mary’s. As they prepare to say goodbye to their Church Street location, they are looking forward to starting a new chapter for Hamburger Mary’s and are eager to see what opportunities lie ahead. They remain committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
