Taylor Heise Represents Team USA at IIHF Women’s World Championship

Taylor Heise is excited to represent Team USA in the IIHF Women’s World Championship in Utica. She has always had a passion for hockey, even though she comes from a basketball family. Her love for the sport started at a young age when she chose the ice over the hardwood.

As the first overall pick in the PWHL Draft last year, Heise has had an incredible journey in her hockey career. She has played college hockey at the University of Minnesota and now competes with Team USA. This will be her sixth World Championship, her third with the senior team.

Heise recognizes the hard work and dedication that has gone into growing women’s sports over the years. Being part of such a historic moment as representing Team USA in a world championship is truly an honor for her.

In her time playing in the PWHL, Heise has scored four goals and seven assists in 14 games, showcasing her skills on the ice. She is grateful for all that she has learned from others who have done so much for women’s sports, and hopes to continue to inspire future generations of female athletes.
