The Norfolk Department of Public Health in Virginia is making STI testing more accessible by offering it for free every Tuesday in honor of National HIV Testing Day, which takes place on June 27. This initiative aims to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and regular testing for HIV.

Interested individuals can take advantage of the walk-in testing option on Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the clinic located at 830 Southampton Avenue in Norfolk. In addition to HIV testing, those interested can also get tested for Syphilis and Hepatitis C. Those with symptoms should schedule an appointment by calling 757-683-2889, while those without symptoms are welcome to walk in on a first-come, first-served basis.
